Emco holds all the following certificates which confirm high quality
of our products.
BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard is one of the highest food safety standards under GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). We have achieved AA – the highest level in the BRCGS audit, demonstrating our commitment to producing safe, authentic, and high-quality products.
Products are certified vegan if they contain no ingredients of animal origin and no animal-derived components are used at any stage of production or processing.
Products are certified vegetarian if they meet all vegan requirements, with the difference that dairy products, eggs, honey, or their derivatives may be included or used in production.
The Rainforest Alliance seal indicates that the certified product or ingredient comes from a source that meets strict social, economic, and environmental sustainability standards. At Emco, we care about the climate, nature, and human rights, which is why we use Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa.
The CCA trademark is used for products sold in Canada and guarantees that these products meet the requirements of the Gluten-Free Certification Program.
Gluten-Free trademark is used under license for products sold globally, this trademark informs customers that the product is gluten-free.
The AOESC standard ensures that final products are made only from ingredients with gluten levels below 20 mg/kg and meet the dietary needs of people with gluten intolerance.
The Beyond Celiac trademark on packaging informs U.S. consumers that these products are produced in facilities that meet the requirements of the Gluten-Free Certification Program.
The EU organic logo provides a clear visual identity for organic products produced in the EU, making it easier for consumers to recognize organic items.
Non-GMO products are produced without genetic engineering, and their ingredients are not derived from GMO materials. Products verified by the Non-GMO Project also comply with the Non-GMO Project Standard.
Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) helps evaluate labor, health and safety, and environmental performance. We use it to measure and ensure social and environmental compliance across our operations.
Halal certification confirms that all ingredients used in the final products are permitted under Islamic law.
Supplier Compliance Audit Network (SCAN) is a global audit program that evaluates supply chains for compliance with international standards in quality, safety, labor, and environmental regulations. It ensures transparency and responsible supply chain management.
Kosher certification signifies that products meet Jewish dietary law. The Badatz Igud Rabbonim (BIR) is one of our certifications, specifically for our oat mill.
